Introduction to Blacksmithing - (November 6, 2024, 6PM - 9:00 PM)

$200.00

Led By Adlai Stein

Learn the basics of blacksmithing with this new take on on old standard. You will be  hooked on these hooks too because many blacksmithing cornerstones are used to make this surprisingly not-so-simple project. You’ll learn to draw a tapper, bend, twist, texture and rivet - all skills you’ll use and build on as you move onto other disciplines (bladesmithing, jewelry, sculpture and more).

This introductory class is perfect for getting started and seeing what this old time craft is about. We will be concentrating on learning the basics of blacksmithing. We will be using the forge, tongs, hammer, grinders and punches for this project.
