Forge A Railroad Spike Knife with Dad. You will get to help dad forge his very own Father Day Gift.
The price is per project not per person.
This basic beginner class is perfect for getting started and seeing what this old time craft is about.We will be concentrating on learning about the tools such as the forge tongs & hammer, and how to use them by making a simple knife or letter opener with an all-metal twisted handle integral knife.
We are going to be working with temperatures in excess of 1800 degrees Fahrenheit and tools like grinders that could be dangerous if your not cautious. Please wear natural fiber clothing and closed toed shoes. Also bring safety glasses if you have them or you may use ours.
This special event is open to ages 10 and up with a parent or legal guardian.
Must give 48 hours cancellation notice in order to receive a refund, minus a 5% fee.
